I’ve been selected as a speaker, what now?
If we select you as a speaker you will need to lock in a date to present. We hold our live STRIVE Series on the second Tuesday of each month from 9-10:15 a.m. Time slots are first come, first served. Once you have been approved as a speaker you will be able to select your time through our STRIVE Series Calendly.
After you have locked in your date, it’s time to get to work on your presentation! We ask that our presenters prepare a slide-based presentation (we recommend you use Canva or PowerPoint) that will last roughly 45 minutes to an hour. The remainder of your time will be for audience questions. We ask that you arrive at least 30 minutes before presenting. There will be time before and after the scheduled presentation for networking. Don’t worry, we’ll bring the coffee and donuts!
In addition, we ask that you provide us with a recording of you presenting your topic. We can help you set this up over Zoom and have it completed before your scheduled live STRIVE Series. We do this so we can provide our audience with a polished on-demand version of your presentation. This is great for you because your presentation will have a far greater reach beyond the live webinar.
Who will you be presenting to?
Be sure to design your presentation with small business owners in mind. For the live presentation, you will be speaking to a mix of Retail Alliance members and prospective members. In-person attendance caps out at 25 guests. There is no limit to the number of participants watching via Zoom. Your on-demand presentation will only be available to active Retail Alliance members.

By presenting you agree to allow us to use your presentation for marketing and educational purposes. Rest assured that we will always credit you and your business when we do. We also ask that you provide us with a copy of the slides you used for your presentation to share with Retail Alliance members.
I want to present but I’m not sure what my topic should be.
Trouble deciding on a topic? We are always looking for experts who can present on subjects related to marketing. Social media, graphic design, website development, and analytics are always popular topics. We also welcome speakers who can present on topics related to running a small business. If you know how to improve sales, network, or manage inventory, let us know!
Please don’t hesitate to submit a topic you feel would be valuable to small business owners. We are always interested in new topics!
