We’re all for Farmers Markets here at LOVEVA. A community coming together to support local vendors and farmers? What could be better? As consumers, we’re very fortunate to have about two dozen Farmers Markets spread throughout Hampton Roads. Read on to learn about some of them and find the full list at the end. If you happen to visit any of them this summer, make sure you’ve got your LOVEVA app ready to go. Williamsburg Farmers Market

Visit the beautiful Merchants Square every Saturday from 8 a.m – 12 p. m. and meet the vendors at the Williamsburg Farmers Market. Every weekend brings fun events, music, and more! FREE Parking in Francis Street Lot (lot P6) on Saturday from 8 a.m. – Noon. Prince George Street Garage is open for $1/hour. Column 15 will be there selling coffee and tea! Ghent Farmers Market

Check out the Ghent Farmers Market on the 1st and 3rd Friday from April to September. The hours are 4 – 7 p.m. The Ghent Farmer’s Market is rain or shine and pet friendly. You can find quite a few of our LOVEVAs here including Pawsnickety Pets, Ego Maniac, and Crunchy Hydration. Find their full list of vendors here. Buckroe Beach Farmers Market

Shop local in Hampton on Saturday mornings at the Buckroe Beach Farmers Market from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., May 1 to October 30. Themed market days are May 22 (Fitness Day), September 25 (Pet Day), and October 23 (Vintage Market). The hours for those days are 9 a.m – 3 p.m. Check out their full schedule here. Smithfield Farmers Market

If you’re looking for products from local farmers, ranchers, home cooks, crafters, artisans, and craftsmen within 100 miles of Smithfield, VA, look no further than Smithfield Farmers Market. It runs every Saturday morning, 9 a.m – 12 p.m. through October, and will close out with Holiday/Specialty markets in November and Christmas Food & Craft markets in December. The Virginia Beach Farmers Market is open year-round and features a variety of agriculturally inspired shops and related businesses that offer seasonal, fresh vegetables and fruit in addition to many other products. ​​​​​​​​Unlike most markets in the area, they’re open daily from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. so you’ve got all the time to stop by!
