BizConnect Hampton Roads Gives Back

As an important Community Partner of ours and because we believe in supporting the non-profit community (we are one ourselves!), we have become an event sponsor for BizConnect's Gives Back event on May 28 from 8-10am at The Harbor Club in the Waterside District in Norfolk. BizConnect Gives Back started in the year that BizConnect Hampton Roads was founded. Since the event started, over $70,000 has been raised for participating BizConnect Member non-profit organizations (some of which we are proud to call Retail Alliance members too!). 

At the event, there will be twenty member non-profits with a staffed table to talk to attendees about their mission. There is a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle and all proceeds are divided among the participating organizations. Sponsorship fees are also added to the total and divided among the participants.

Retail Alliance has donated some Tides baseball tickets to the silent auction and hope that some other small businesses will either donate or sponsor this great cause.

NON-BIZCONNECT MEMBER ATTENDANCE - $25

• Non-members can attend the event for a $25 donation. With the donation, you will receive 30 raffle tickets for the 50/50 cash raffle and other prize drawings.

BizConnect Non-profits who have been a member for over a year are eligible to participate in the showcase. Because there are many non-profits in the group, the first right of refusal will go to members who have actively participated in BizConnect for the past year.
