Hope in a Handbag: Bringing Comfort and Care to Those in Need
Retail Alliance is excited to announce the launch of Hope in a Handbag, a heartfelt community initiative designed to spread hope and kindness to those in need. Through this project, we will collect gently used handbags and manbags, fill them with essential items, and deliver them to women and men supported by Survivor Ventures.
We’re inviting you to join us in making a difference! Whether you donate handbags, manbags or items to go inside them, your generosity can provide comfort to someone in need.
Here’s what we are accepting:
- Handbags (purses, totes, manbags, fannypacks)
- Gift cards
- Power bars/snack items
- Beauty products (lip balm, hand lotion, etc.)
- Socks
- Toothbrushes and toothpaste
- Small journals or notebooks
- Pens
- Sewing Kits
- Gloves
- Hats
- Kids Items
Your support can turn small, everyday items into a source of hope and dignity for those facing challenges.

Survivor Ventures provides survivors of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation with the support and resources needed to attain economic empowerment.
Please make sure to coordinate with Megan or Jess to get your items or bags to us by February 14th to ensure they are included in our delivery to Survivor Ventures!
