Previous owner of old favorite The Pizza Shop in Grafton reopens with new name and updated look

York County, September 1, 2022: If you’ve seen The Pizza Shop in Grafton, York County, with a closed sign on it since December 2021 and wondered if it was ever going to reopen, good news! It is now open, renamed Uncle B’s Pizza Shop, and run by previous owner Brian Betts. Brian owned The Pizza Shop from 2001 until 2018 when he sold it and opened Uncle B’s Toys & Collectibles. When the chance came to reclaim the The Pizza Shop business, he had no hesitation in doing so, closing his toy store back in May.

Knowing what worked well for him in the past, Betts will be following the original owner’s recipes from Syracuse, New York. They will serve New York Style Pizza cooked in traditional brick ovens. Brian Betts is a lifetime resident of York County. He has been an independent businessman for the last 21 years. He produces a quality product and provides a family atmosphere for fun and good eating

Retail Alliance will be hosting a ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration for Uncle B’s Pizza Shop on September 16, 2022 at 9:30am. Address is 5214 George Washington Memorial Highway Yorktown, VA 23692. Everyone welcome.
